 Farmers Banking and Trust Building Gets Local Historic DesignationThe Farmers Banking and Trust Building, long a centerpiece in Downtown Rockville, has been approved by Rockville's mayor and council for a local historic designation.The building at 4 Courthouse Square most recently served as a branch of M&T Bank. Built in 1930, it is considered to be the last art deco building (popular during the period from about 1925-1940) in Rockville.
