St. Leonard Volunteer Fire, Rescue and EMS presents their 2010 Concert Series. It started out with Foreigner palying over the weekend. It was a great concert. Tonights concert will probably have a larger turnout than Foreigner. Pictured below cars are parked along the street and vendors are getting set up. It is nice to see St Leonard come alive for these events. I was invited to an open house by Martha Brown at 1111 Thompson Ct in St Leonard MD and ran into a few fellow Active Rainers. First of all the house was IMMACULATE! and WOW! Custom wood galore...      Martha had a great spread of salad and finger foods from Chesapeake Grill which was delicious. We had some great company stop in as well.   Of course Martha Monique Hailer Jen Anderson Sylvia Hart Bonnie Augostino and Cheryl Richie All in all it was a great time. I love to garden so I thought I would share this. Crocus are always the first to bloom here. I tried some other early bulbs this year but they are not out yet. The pansies survived the snow too. My palm tree has made it through the last 2 winters. It came out looking good this year except where the snow weighed down the leaves. Last year it was colder so some of the leaves turned brown. I like the tropical look and it stays green all winter. 03/10/2010
