45th Annual Towsontown Spring Festival is this weekend, starting Saturday May 5th from 10am until 7pm and continuing on May 6 and 1 pm to 7pm. The Festival encompasses the entire Towson Core Business Area, the streets West of York Road and East of Bosley Avenue will be closed for the duration of the festival. A map of the festival grounds with identifiable parking garages can by found here. Garages are marked with a "P" for parking. The cost to park is $4.00 for the entire day. This fee is set by the county and is less than last year. The Towsontown Festival is the largest outdoor festival in Maryland and one of the largest on the east coast. We have had some amazingly beautiful weather here in Baltimore for the past few weeks. 70's-80's in MARCH! Sometimes we are digging out from major snowstorms here during this time period. We had a very mild winter, for which I am very grateful. I used to like the snow, but ever since we got those huge storms with 2 feet each within a week "Snowpocalypse," we called it, I no longer appreciate the stuff. Today, I have to laugh, because after these two weeks of wonderful weather, we have fog, rain, and it is chilly. (Even if the "chilly" is normal temperature for Baltimore!) Even though it is the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, I had signed up for a workshop at the Apple Store in Towson. With all the reports of heavy traffic and accidents etc..I thought a 5:00 class is not the best idea. But it was already on my schedule and I kept the appointment. And am I glad!! The entire workshop consisted of me and Shae and we had so much fun. One question after another I fired at Shae and she was answering them. How do you make ® on the iPad? ..can't. You have to copy and save and then paste it. Someone tell my why? In between my questions, Shae continued to give me pointers and show useful and fun things on the iPad. Razorbacks Hit The Spot After a Busy HomeRome Week!It has been a long and wonderfully busy week. With a showing this morning, a 12:00 walk-through, a smooth 2:00 settlement, and a near closing that took over four hours of negotiating at the table, I guess you can say this is a long day and the end of another week. The time was now  8:30 PM... time for dinner because there was no lunch. So I invited my sellers to stop and have a bite. I did the inviting...they picked up the check before I had the chance.This is such a nice way to bring a 'close' to closing. My Very First Apple Product...Thanks to Erica Rome! Last week my daughter asked what I wanted for my birthday. She knows I never want anything and am not easy to buy for. I love her phone calls, visits, special cards and notes. Gifts for occasions are not the important things with our family. A Delightful Mailman...I Mean Letter Carrier..Named Jim.  Today on a listing appointment, I had the pleasure of meeting Jim Christopher who is the letter carrier for 17 Bellows Ct.  Dulaney Towers.
