I headed out to the Fowlerville Fairgrounds with my wife to take in some knowledge of the soybean.  A mere $3 entrance fee (with free parking) and a few free hours were all that was needed.  Who knew that there would be so many cute chicks there, too.    There were swap meet vendors, an old Model A, and some tractors on display.  We missed the tractor pull and the evening entertainment, but the Historical Village was open, and the soybean displays were interesting.  Being ‘city slickers’, we decided that farmers are pretty ingenious.  Who else could get you to buy tickets to ‘cow pie bingo,’ a game where you literally pay to watch where a cow poops.  A grid is drawn on the ground and a well fed cow then walks around and does its thing.  The grid with the most ‘stuff’ is the winner.  As ...

I grew up and graduated in Fowlerville, Michigan. And I remember the first day McDonalds opened (WOW is that a long time ago..... ) my friends and I were so excited to stay after school and get a big mac.... oh, and that was when there was only 3 schools.  Now I look back and smile.  I never would have thought I would see the day my small town would grow up.  Change is a very good thing and new buisness's bring all kinds of good things.                                                                                  AND NOW THERE IS A>>>>              opening in March.... WoW..... I am so hyped  to think this is going on in   Fowlerville,..... will it bring new jobs? Will it bring new homeowners? Im just glad that if it does I know the insides and  out of my once small town... Hopefully...

BURR its cold outside.... I was thinking the other day how to make it more appealing to buyers to go shopping for a new home in this cold weather.... And I offered up some hot beverages and snacks.  Went over very well. Some have said you shouldn't feed clients. I have to disagree I think of clients as more than that. I know if Its cold out I would like to warmed up by some hot coco or coffee.  I just cant understand why some agents find it necessary to be so non personable??? I think if you can relate with a persone they are more apt to trust you.
