Northville Township, MII read an interesting article the other day about the old Northville Psychiatric Hospital.  It was sold to a developer in the last few years.  Northville Township wants to reduce the scope of the developers plans.  So the developer is headed to court to fight Northville Township.But there is an interesting twist to the story.  The developer had put 4 mobile homes on the property so they could have live in security while the buildings are vacant.  (There is a large attraction for people and kids to check out the old facility).The people in the 4 mobile homes are the only residents of the property.  Under current state law a majority vote of the residents would allow another city (Livonia) to annex the property.  So Northville Twp is somewhat under the gun to approv... 03/09/2008
