I represent taxpayers in the greater Saint Louis area as well through out the State of MIssouri who have unfiled tax returns and unresolved tax issues. The latest message that was broadcasted over social media was please respond to our notices before we begin enforcement action. This was a reminder that they are in full collection mode as of 6/15 as evidenced by generating balance due  letters after 2020 returns were processed and accessed. This is a friendly reminder that the IRS would like to be paid.  The collection effort begins to intensify if there is no contact with the IRS. Taxpayers with balances due from 2020 as well as 2019 will be notified that they have 30 days to respond or pay there tax bills. If commuication is non existant  then other letters will be forthcoming which b...

I represent taxpayers in the greater Saint Louis area as well through out the state of Missouri who have unfiled tax returns and unreolved tax issues. Since Covis19 the IRS has had a very low profile regarding enforcment of deliquent taxes being paid as well as getting people to start filing there returns. There are over an astounding 25 million people in the IRS collection inventory and it was just annouced that starting June 15 enforcement letters will begin to be sent out as a begining salvo to get things back on track for the IRS to get back in the collection business. So what does that mean for tax payers? It's time to get busy. As the title above indicates letter 11 this is a reminder that you owe money and the IRS would like to be paid. What's next? Pay your unpaid balance. When y...

I represent tax payers in the greater Saint Louis area and the state of Missouri who have issues with unfiled tax returns and outstanding tax liabilites. Much has been made of the new adminstrations plans to implement changes for a number of projects. Plans to raise taxes for corporations and high earners to generate revenue for all this programs is in play. Recenty it was discovered that these high earners were paying only 39% of the taxes they owed the IRS. Also the Treasury inspector General for Tax Administration, an IRS watch dog indicated that the unpaid back taxes were not being collected.  This extra revenue that is projected to come in to pay for the $!.5 trillion American Families Plan plus the $2 trillion infrastructure program has to come from somewhere. For the first time i...

William Robert Laughlin was born in San Gabriel, California back in 1932 to Robert and Charlotte.  At the tender age of eight he worked in the film industry.  He was made famous by his strange guttural voice (more on that in a moment). He died in 1948, he was sixteen from a motorcycle accident.  He was the youngest of the actors/actresses to die from the Our Gang films.  For those of you old enough to remember those films if you haven’t figured it out by now he was known as Froggy.  Your day is worthwhile when you make someone smile, so give the free gift of a smile today.
