If you are trying to search for lake front land on Table Rock here are a few helpful tips. I am currently looking myself for a client that would like 2-5+ acres on the water. He will be coming to town at the end of the month. Today I will be starting my search on the MLS to see what is active. For example right now I am searching in the areas of Branson, Branson West, Kimberling, Ridgedale and Blue Eye (preferably JJ and UU Hwy.)   Table Rock Lake is a vast area of 800 miles of winding shore line and 43,000 acres of water!!  Looking for the right lake property is no easy task, now that I have gotten side-tracked by looking for a nice picture of the lake--ok back to my search! According to my local MLS, Branson single family homes sales last month total was up from 14 to 20 homes sold.  The highest priced one sold for $499,000 and the lowest priced one sold for about 90k with a median price of $185,000.  That is  more homes than the previous month and a higher median price makes this report all good news.  Condo sales were up also from 2 to 11 closing escrow last month.  The highest one sold for $100,000 and the lowest sold for about 34k.  They had a median price of $75,000 which is also good news for condo sellers.   Market information for land, farms, and mobile-home sales as well as other local information is available by request.  Real estate is always local and there is no problem getting financing for good buyers and a fair price for good property, if y... 04/13/2010

Coming in May 2010 the Branson area will once again be home to an outdoor amphitheater. The Black Oak Mountain Amphitheater will reopen in Lampe, which is located in Stone County, southwest of Branson. The attraction originally opened back in 1983, but had since closed. Recently renovated, the outdoor theater will be ready for the first show on May 30, 2010, according to the amphitheater's web site. I don't think these guys are used to getting their picture taken while fishing, but I always thought men fishing make great photographs!   The White River which is now known as Lake Taneycomo is a favorite spot for fishing brown trout and rainbow trout. The clear cold waters of Taneycomo provide the perfect habitat staying a constant 58 degrees even in summer. Many state records have been achieved here on this lake. The cold temperature of the lake is because the bottom water of Table Rock never sees the sun and stays cold. I previewed this home yesterday and also showed it later in the afternoon. It is a new foreclosed home in Cozy Cove, which is a gated community just minutes from Branson Schools and Wal-Mart.
