Kansas City Market Report: Raymore MO 2010 May Though many of my posts are about Brookside in Kansas City, there are many other areas to keep an eye on.  I have a request to review the housing market in Raymore.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with Raymore, it is south of Kansas City and east of Belton.  I remember 30 years ago when it was cow pastures, crops and hunting ground.  Since then, Raymore has grown close to 20,000 people. In the 2000 census, the population was around 11,000. Don't be fooled though, Raymore is a busy place with a huge Lowe's store, loads of restaurants, shops, and a thriving community.  Oden's BBQ on Scott Street is a must!
