Hadassah Freilich was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia back in 1948 to Samuel and Ella. In 1949 the family moved to the United States settling in Gardner, Massachusetts. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Dramatics from Boston University in 1970, as well as a MA in International Relations from Northeastern University.After graduation, she worked at Lehman Brothers as a director of Policy, Planning and Communications at Pfizer. She also held the position as a senior program officer at the National Research Council. She is also a member of the Parents Music Resource Center.
