Short Sale Declining In The Springfield Missouri Real Estate Market Are short sale declining in the Springfield Missouri real estate market or is it just a lull waiting for more distressed sellers getting ready to go to foreclosure. We recently got a home under contract for a buyer in Springfield MO.  It was an older home but very cute and had a good price. It had many items that were new:  carpeting, paint, interior doors, windows, light fixtures, porch, bathroom and a brand new A/C unit.  It appeared that someone knew what they were doing and fixed it up right. You can probably guess the rest of the story...
