The Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments (NWReCOG) at 114 West Third Street in Maryville has some new faces and quite a bit more foot traffic. The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce still wants to hear from businesses, organizations and individuals wishing to register an entry in the Nodaway County Fair Parade, which will take place beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 16.This year's fair begins on Thursday, July 14, with most attractions to take place around the courthouse square. Every year many students make the trek to Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville Missouri. It's during this time that the towns population of right around 11,000 nearly doubles for the school year. New listings for the month of March were double those recorded in February. The number of houses sold remained steady. With warmer weather here we are looking for a steady rise of both of these numbers. Sales volume was up slightly as well.
