  We are deeply saddened to report the tragic death of the daughter of our 2012 Board President Jennifer Carson.  Laura Carson, a sixth-grader at Armstrong Middle School, was killed in a go-kart accident while visiting relatives in Alabama on New Year’s Day. We extend our deepest sympathy to Jennifer, her husband Lee and their son Garrett. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 5 – 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church Family Life Center in Starkville.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from First United Methodist Church, 200 West Lampkin Street, Starkville, MS.
