A project of the Lake Norman Folk Art Festival, one of the founders of the festival, Robert Oren Eades will paint 4 x 8 sheets of plywood on the barn to promote the festival.   A week full of July Fourth holiday celebrations began Saturday with fireworks and a parade at Troutman’s annual Independence Day Festival. It continues with three more fireworks shows in the coming days – three in the Mooresville area and one in Statesville. In Mooresville, fireworks extravaganzas are planned at Lowe’s YMCA on July 3, and on July 4 at Queen’s Landing and Trump National Golf Club.
