 Summer is a good time to sell your house in Kill Devil Hills. With so much of Kill Devil Hills located on the west side of Rt158 and occupied by year round residents, home sales there do not follow the same pattern as the parts of the beach dominated by vacation rental homes. Home sales in the areas close to the beach, where the vacation rental houses are located, slow down in the summer for various reasons all having to do with the throngs of vacationers here during the summer.Year round neighborhoods populated with local residents continue to see homes sales remain brisk right through the summer.
