In the past two years, the average sale price of a Matthews home has increased by approximately $162,000. Despite a shifting and softening market in the latter part of 2022, the housing market in Matthews was strong with a list to sale price ratio of over 100% and days on market of only two weeks.  Seven neighborhoods topped the Matthews "sales charts" in 2022 with more than 15 sales each during the year.
