Is Spring around the corner?.....the myth of the Robin says when you see a  Robin it is the beginning of Spring...Well today is January 25th and we saw a Robin....not just a Robin but a flock....  is it Spring??....I don't think so, but I would sure like to close my eyes, click my "ruby slippers" and hope so.... We are not in Kansas Dorothy or Miami..... its is rainy, raw and in the 40's....in Wilmington NC no less.  Needless to say, I am  forever an optimist and say Spring is around the corner.   Dick says February 14th it starts...we'll see.  Of course this is the one time my camera was at home....so the smart phone had to pitch hit....so the photos aren't the best.....but look closely and you will see our NC ROBINS. I did do some research and for those of you who are birdwatchers....... 01/25/2011
