BUILDING PERMITS ARE A GOOD INDICATOR As you can see from the stats above, published in The Minot Daily News and provided by the Minot Building Inspection Office, the building "BOOM" following the oil boom is tapering off. More facts should be considered to come to any logical conclusions. As a Broker/Owner of a small agency my line of thinking is: Home prices in the Minot ND area are NOT going to drop anytime soon. The market is very tight right now with only about 150 single family homes for sale in a market of 50,000 people. The average price per single family home in Minot is at an all time high of over $320,000. per home.
