  Open Houses --- are they really an effective marketing tool? Open houses have had mixed responses overall in my office for the past several years. In fact, most agents no longer pursue them in this market for fear that they do not have any "fast" response for a sale on the listing itself or they fear that they will not turn up future prospects. Some brokers don't like to do them either because it takes up alot of ad space with no clear indication of return. LA ROE VAN HORN HOUSE ARCHAEOLOGY November 19, 2009 A site formerly the home of the President of Ramapo College, originally excavated in 1980, was the 1750 Laroe-Van Horn House and the 1700 Indian Trading Post established by Blandina Bayard.  Seven excavation units were opened around the house and over 13,000 artifacts were recovered.  The artifacts recovered are now part of the Mahwah Museum Collection and were analyzed in 2009 by noted Archaeologist Edward J. My son loves Les Paul. Although my teenager plays the trumpet and he reads & can appreciate music, he does not play the guitar. He is by no means a musician though he listens to music 24/7. My Erik is a well-rounded kid who loves sports, his family & friends, basketball sneakers, sushi and video games. Yesterday I sold another unit at Franklin Heights in Mahwah NJ.  This townhouse complex is one of my favorites in Bergen County, NJ.  It offers a pool, tennis courts, and a clubhouse at an unbelievable low maintenance fee.  Not to mention Mahwah's already low taxes.  The maintenance on this unit is only $120 per month and the taxes are only $4,819.  Low considering it is Bergen County.
