My Mom (in wheel chair), with my Dad and Cousin Jackie     Last week, I participated in the Relay For Life of Medford, NJ. My company, Coldwell Banker Elite, was one of the “Fight Back” sponsors. I was asked to represent the company and talk about why I Relay. This is what I said.   My Relay Story I will never forget my first Relay. I had just joined Coldwell Banker Elite Realtors, as a sales associate. I didn’t know what Relay was but the company was asking for people to take shifts and walk the track. I chose the 2am – 3am shift.  I arrived just before 2am and was amazed by the energy and dedication of the people walking the track. I was hooked! The next year we formed a team in Medford at Lenape High school. While I rais...

We had a few birthdays that were celebrated at my parents house in Medford,New Jersey. Happy Birthday ... Happy Happy Birthday... what a day. For those that read some of my posts, I talk about my sister and her family. She has 6 kids, 3 boys and 3 girls. Well, the youngest two are twins and tomorrow they turn 3 years old. But we celebrated their birthday today. As you can see, Ava had her own table with her own cake. We then had to go over to the other table and sing happy birthday to Joey... lol                         Here is Joey at his own table... you will see two cakes on the table. My birthday is tax day, so we had a 3rd birthday to celebrate. Of course my cake is on the left, if looking at the picture. Not the Buzz cake... lol  And I let the kids blow out my candles....    ...

Boy Scouts in Medford, New Jersey - Burlington, New Jersey As some of you know, I have 6 nieces and nephews and I love them all.  Johnny, oldest of the boys, is leaving Cub Scouts and will be going into Boy Scouts.  Good for him.... so proud of him. Some look at the Scouts as geeky or nerdy.. or just not fun. I know growing up, I did Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, but stopped... long story, but I was grounded one year and never picked it up after that. But Boy Scouts can teach a young boy so many things, while still having fun.   In any case, I am PROUD of you Johnny... because it also takes dedication and follow through... not quiting when things get tough. Life is full of challenges... live, learn, love and have fun along the way....

The 1st point I must make is, do not hire a Realtor who works another job to supplement their income! Would you use a doctor or attorney that needed a part time job? I wouldn't. I have made this my full time career for 10 years and have consistantly ranked as a Top Producer. 2009 Janet Larsen ranked in the top 50 in the State of NJ Remax Agents. 2003-2010 NJ Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence Award Winner and 2005-2009Remax 100% Club Award Winner. I have listened to many homeowners that continually tell me they wish they had called me 1st instead of going though 1-3 other Realtors and wasting 6 months to 3 years trying to sell their homes that I have sold in a period of 1 day to 120 days at the price they expected anyway. Secondly, make a couple of test calls both to the agent...

The adorable twins, Ava and Joey, on Valentine's Day. They will be 3 years old on April 11th. Yes, I know, they are my niece and nephew.. and we all love our kids, nieces, nephews, and or grand-kids. But I really love these two.. they have so much energy and I truly think they are both really cute. (If any of you follow my Wednesday or Sunday posts, many times, these two are all over them.   I was talking to my mom tonight on the phone, thanking her for this picture. She tells me that Ava doesn't stop talking now. I said, yes, that is true. But remember, 8 months ago and she was never talking... lol These two are so good to each other, you just wonder what they will be like when they get older, when they enter high school. Anyhoo... enjoy this precious picture. Uncle Jeff out...   My ...

Many of you know that I am a die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan... and I grew up loving the Pittsburgh Steelers of the mid 70's... but there is Packer blood flowing in the Belonger family. My dad was born and raised in Two Rivers, WI, about an hour south of Green Bay, WI. So of course the Green Bay Packers is my dad's favorite team. In any case, I came over to my parents house in Medford, New Jersey last night to hang out with my nieces and nephews and to watch the game with the family today. To my suprise, there are many cheese heads lurking the Belonger house.... follow me.                                 As some of you know, my sister & brother-in-law have 6 kids... so I have 3 nieces and 3 nephews.. all great kids.... Here is Joey the night before. For some reaon my cell phon...

My nephew Johnny was in a Christmas concert last evening at St. Mary's of the Lakes school in Medford, New Jersey. John is the handsome boy in the white shirt and red tie.              Here is Johnny now taking his talents to the drums. Look as he studies his music sheet intensely, getting ready to play those drums. As I watched him concentrate on when it was his turn during the concert, I realized that John is growing up so quickly, now at the age of 11 1/2.             Not the best of pictures, considering that I was using my cell phone. But this was the ending of the concert. What was unique about this song was that they mentioned small towns/cities all across the world, and each time they mentioned one, a kid would turn on a small candle.  Overall, Uncle Jeff was very proud ...

2010 Relay For Life of Medford June 19, 2010 at Freedom Park This will be my 7th year “Relaying”. I really became passionate about Relay after seeing firsthand what this undiscriminating disease can do. I watched helplessly as my cousin was diagnosed, treated and finally succumbed all under a year’s time. I swore then that I would help to make a difference. That is why I Relay.  More and more cancer has become a part of my life. There isn’t a week that goes by that I don’t hear of someone being newly diagnosed or that someone lost the fight.  My Mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer just about two years ago. She had chemo, surgery then more chemo and is doing great. Cancer is stubborn and she is on a monthly low dose chemo. Cancer may be stubborn,  but Mom is even more determined to ...
