We've all seen the positive effects of good staging when it comes to selling a home. All you need to do is catch a show on HGTV and see how it impacts a buyer's perception. Recently I was able to witness a transformation of a home first hand with our new listing of a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath Colonial on a cul-de-sac in Ramsey. The elderly owner recently passed away and her son was left as executor of the estate sale. As it turns out, her son is also a professional stager, having done work for countless print ads and catalogs like Neiman Marcus, and getting it ready for sale was a labor of love. He had the house "detailed" by professional cleaners, emptied it out completely and had a landscaper give it a spring clean-up.
