On April 15, Franklin township will be holding School Board elections and voting for the next year's school budget, with the spectre of the state holding back over $500,000 in aid.  Compared with other districts in the county, Franklin seems to be getting shortchanged!  What do we need to do to get our share from the state?  School budgets over the last few years have not been passing consistently--the state may assume that our residents are satisfied with their system.  Success of our schools is what keeps property values comparible with the surrounding towns.  Every family who has children in the school system wants them to have every educational opportunity.  Let your vote reflect those desires.  However, if one looks at our demographics, we seem to be the prime location for the "Age... 04/14/2008
