Green2V | Rio Rancho | New Mexico   Well it is official this last week it was annouced that a huge solar company Green2V will be setting up shop in Rio Rancho. The Company will be building between the new downtown area and Sue Cleavland High school. The Green2V facility will sit on a 124 acre site and the building is said to be over 1 million square feet. Amazing!!! The job impact is will be great as Green2V intends to bring over 1500 jobs and over time 3000 jobs to the area. In the short term it will be great for the local economy from the sense of contruction jobs and building up the infastructur to accomidate this large operation. It still amazes me when I find another jewel in the heart of Rio Rancho real estate at $122,500!  A completely updated property with new carpet, fixtures, tile, kitchen cabinets, counter tops and all new appliances including a refrigerator that still have the tags on them.  It pays to get out and preview homes.  Not only am I staying refreshed and familiar with the inventory, but a find like this makes for great conversation with my potential Buyers. If ever there was a time that all things have come together for the Buyer's Market, it must be today.   INTEREST RATES ARE LOW, IT'S A BUYER'S MARKET, AND THE $8,000.00 BUYER'S CREDIT!  The possibility of these three coming together again at the same time is probably unlikely in the future.  Eventually interest rates will go up and the market will swing to a Seller's market and the Buyer's credit will go away. I was out looking at Rio Rancho Real Estate today and I stumbled upon the 7th Annual Rio Rancho Pork and Brew. There's lots of good food but be sure to bring your windbreaker if you're going this afternoon. The wind was extreme! I had to help hold down a tent with all of my 225 pounds when the first wind gusts blew in. I arrived at noon today (Friday) just in time to hear the national anthem and to see Big John pull out the first brisket and begin to slice it for me. Mm mm Good! Can you smell the Hickory smoke? I couldn't stay for the Pig Race and frankly, I was terrified at the prospect of the 1,000 LB pig flying anyway (LOOK OUT BELOW!) There are local businesses like Montoya's Farm and Big John's at Pork and Brew but there are also booths from other states too like Texas Rib Rangers....
