Want to Stroll Around the Lake? - New Lakeside Trail and Boardwalk in Congers NY With the warm weather, most of us are heading outdoors to exercise.  For the strollers, walkers, bikers and joggers amongst us, there is a new lakeside trail and boardwalk to explore that runs around much of Congers Lake in Rockland County NY.  The trail was just recently completed and dedicated this past week in a ceremony that took place at the entrance to the path on Lake Road, just before the intersection of Route 303 in Congers. Right now the path only goes around part of the lake.  It goes around the north and south portions of the lake along route 303 and through Congers Lake Memorial Park on Gilchrist Road.  The path right now is 1.7 miles long but when its completed it will be a total of 2.6 miles....

Pay It Forward - Clarkstown Coats for Kids This past Tuesday I woke up to a dusting of snow.   The temperatures were way below freezing which made it very tempting to work from home but since Tuesday is Rockland County, NY's day for broker open-houses, I joined a fellow agent and we braved the weather to head out to tour some properties. She offered to do the driving as long as I was willing to detour and make a stop at a local dry cleaning store, Fine Line Cleaners, on S. Main Street in New City, to drop off some coats for donation to Rockland County's needy. Of coarse I agreed!  What a no-brainer!  I had enough advance notice to quickly clean out my coat closet and add some coats to her donation pile. The Kcira family of Fine Line Cleaners on S. Main Street in New City is part of  the...
