Massapequa has been declared a state of emergency by Gov. Cuomo. Official snow totals show Massapequa had 7 inches of snow.  Due to the heavy snow and freezing temperatures expected over the next 24 hours Nassau county and the Town of Oyster Bay have set up warming centers.
