Current Housing Market Conditions Update – February 18th  2014 Montgomery NY Real Estate Market Report Inventory is on the rise in Montgomery. Sellers saw January as a great time to get their homes on the market. 22 new listings this month alone. The last few months inventory was slowing dropping and buyers were having less choices, but that changed in January. They were aware that selling a home in January is a  great time before the spring rush. Buyers are still out looking even though the snowflakes have been flying. Current Housing Market Condition  Year End Housing Market Update for 2013  Housing Sales continue to climb 2013 Year End Market Statistics for Montgomery NY The 2013 numbers are in for the Montgomery NY housing market.  The number of single family homes sold in Montgomery rose slightly for the year.  Compared to 2012 an increase of 5.2% represents positive gains. Pricing remains relatively stable for sellers for the most part. Inventory is dwindling at this point and many of the homes listed are new construction. These homes while list, are not even built yet. New homes are popular in this local market. Current Housing Market Conditions Update – December 7th  2013 Montgomery NY Real Estate Market Report Inventory continues to remain at the same level for the last few months. Our numbers of new homes and sales are just about equal from the previous months numbers. Buyers are looking at new construction homes and enjoying the features that are included compared to a home that is  a resale. We are having sales, and buyers remain extremely cautious. Pricing a home properly is key to getting it sold. As the winter sets in many people expect the market to quiet down. I am not seeing that right now. I have buyers out looking around. Inventory is remaining at the same level for the last few months. We are having sales, but buyers are extremely cautious. Current Housing Market Conditions Update – August 3rd 2013  Town of Montgomery NY Real Estate Market Report Homes in Montgomery NY are selling. Inventory is falling and buyers are out scouting the market for a new home. Last peak of analysis shows that we are at an 11.5 month supply of homes for sale. We still remain in a buyers market as the numbers still need to go lower. We still have a way to go before that happens.
