The TRI-WIZARD TOURNAMENT Continues at The Suffern Free Library, Suffern NY For all you Harry Potter fans, Suffern Free Library's Tri-wizard Tournement which began this past fall will be hosting TASK TWO of the tournement this coming Friday night. For an Out of This World Experience Visit The Challenger Learning Center in Suffern NY The Lower Hudson Valley Challenger Learning Center is one of fifty Challenger Centers across the United States and around the world.   They were created in memory of those that died on the Challenger Space Shuttle which took off on January 28 1986 with seven astronauts and Christa McAuliffe aboard. Pay it Forward - Helping a Senior Find the Perfect Home In Real Estate we so often get the chance to help others and pay it forward. Recently I had a rental walk-in.  He was looking for a unit for his elderly father, in particular in the nearby co-op/condo development of Bon Aire Park.  When Larry told me what his father's needs were, I thought a rental in a neighborhood senior development would be a better choice.  Larry concurred but let me know that they had tried that route and that all the affordable ones had long waiting lists. Holiday Lighting Suffern NY - Thursday December 2, 2010 The Village of Suffern will be celebrating the holiday season starting this Thursday evening and you're invited to join. The annual holiday lighting ceremony for both the Village Menorah and Village Christmas Tree will take place at the Virginia Menschner Gazebo and the Community Center.  Singing begins at 6:30 p.m followed by the lighting which will take place at 7:00 p.m.  There will be music, refreshments and a chance to visit and take a photo with Santa in the community house.  If any of your younger children (up to third grade only) have written a letter to Santa, you can drop off the letters at the VIllage Hall.  Somehow or other, they hope to answer all letters.
