This past Saturday we had plans to go out to dinner with friends of ours from New Jersey and therefore we were dining in a place that was in between our homes.  Our husbands had picked a place that they thought would be convenient for us relative to the drive we would have to make.  None of us had ever been to this restaurant so we were taking a big risk.  LOL  We went to a place called PORTOBELLO in Oakland, NJ.  All that day it had been raining and by the time it came time to leave it was a virtual monsoon.  But we headed out anyway since it was just rain.  Our drive took us a little over an hour because of the weather and when we got there it couldn't have been raining any harder. I met the best clients this week.  We spent all day looking at the houses of their choice and they had me laughing the whole day.  At one point we were trying to find a house on a "road" (is it really a road when it is made of grass?)  that we had very poor directions for.   We literally ran out of road (remember we are not sure if it was even a road) and couldn't really turn around because there was water on one side at one point so just when I thought I would have to back the whole way out one of my clients was good enough to get out and help me do a 28 point K turn.   All the laughing made my stomach hurt.  This is why I absolutely love my job.  You meet the best people and you never know what each day will bring.   You get to help them buy their dream home and make their dreams come... 07/15/2009
