   Very similar to my previous post on Firestone Park Ohio Homes, this story involves our neighbors to the east, Goodyear Heights Ohio Homes and their rich history.  In my opinion, these are two of the most interesting stories in Akron Ohio homes and our neighborhoods history. Two of the most famous corporations in the United States and they started in our own Akron Ohio! Frank Seiberling, Goodyear's founder, was very similar to Harvey Firestone, in that he had a vision for his new company in the early 1900's. Like Harvey, he worried about his workforce and retention, due to excessive travel. He also opted to purchase a huge block of land to build homes for his workers.
