A recent article of mine about the 4th of July at Hidden Harbour in Holland, Ohio was a description of what happens on this special day. Now that I have my pictures downloaded I can show you some of the boats that rode in the Boat Parade that day. The boat parade starts at 4 p.m. with the lead boat at what is called the Baja. HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT 4TH OF JULY 2013!. THERE WERE OVER 20 BOATS IN THE PARADE AND A DISK JOCKEY PROVIDED MUSIC THAT WAS HEARD ALL OVER THE LAKE WITH PATRIOTIC SONGS THAT MADE THE DAY SPECIAL.

I found this picture from Feb, 2008 and it reminded me of what our winters out at Hidden Harbour in Holland Ohio are like. As I look out the window today I see a little bit more snow on the frozen water and wait for a few signs of Spring to come. My neighbor says the robins are back--can that be true? Now this is more like it!

The fun is about to begin this weekend at Hidden Harbour in Holland, Ohio. On Sunday, July 4th the boats will be decorated in various themes, water fights will break out, and from young to old it's a great time for all. I will be taking some pictures and will post them on active rain so that you can see all the fun that makes the 4th of July so much fun.
