Team,   Hi, just a quick post to brag about another buyer that I helped to buy a HUD home.  This particular home is in Lewis Center, Ohio's Prestwick Commons subdivision.  Awesome lot that backed to trees / and a creek.  Large 4 bedroom home. My buyer got it for $143k.  I sold a similar home on a lot that wasn't quite as nice in the same subdivision in the last 6 months for over $220k.  Now granted there's some work to be done, but it's still a great buy.  Short term hurt to the subdivions, but long term help.  My buyer has big plans. Thought you'd like to know!   Ryan Reynolds Keller Williams Capital Partners Realty (740) 972-2731 ryanreynolds@kw.com www.RyanHelpsU.com "Helping you is what I'm here to do!"

After a morning meeting at the Board of Realtors here in Columbus, Ohio, I met another great Realtor, Stephanie. We shared our stories on how trying to network with friends and family is sometimes the hardest..the disappointments many. You would think these people in your "sphere of influence" would support you the most...some have, others are afraid to get involved with someone they know so well. Any advice for overcoming that objection?? Do these people realize this is my own bread and butter?? I was glad to hear Steph's stories on this subject, I am not the only one feeling this frustration. It seems that the best referrals come from the complete strangers you work with! Tomorrow I may want to blog about being a young mom in this business.......there is a need for a support group the...

I decided to try this blogging thing, other agents I have talked to said it helped increase their business, some even did away with print advertising! So, I hope along with my prayers and hard work, this too shall provide me some benefit.  I specialize in residential real estate in Lewis Center and the surrounding areas, and I would love to get feedback from other agents as to how well this blogging is working for them. -Jen

Let me introduce you to "From the Vine" at 8909 S. Old State Rd., Lewis Center OH 43035.  It is a 2500sf wine and specialty beer shop in the Polaris area on the cusp of Lewis Center.  Upon entering you will see the checkout counter which is usually manned by one of the owners, Shawn and Jaimie Meadows. You can get just about anything you want from the shelves and special order even more.  Wine on the shelves ranges from $5 to $180 per bottle and there is a wide selection of specialty beer both in the cooler and on the shelves.  They will sell you Miller Lite with a smile, but you can get that anywhere.  How about a single bottle of a Tripple Bock that you have never seen before? If you don't know what you want or have a question about how something will taste, just ask.  One of the cool ...

Love to shop, eat and have fun, Lewis Center is the place to be! Lewis Center Ohio is located in Delaware County within Orange Township about 20 miles from downtown Columbus Ohio. It is believed that Lewis Center was named after the William L. Lewis family that donated land for a railroad station. The Lewis Center zip code 43035 covers a very large area in Orange Township. In the late 1980's and early 1990's some of the Orange Township land was annexed into Columbus and Westerville. With the annexation of this land into Columbus this area exploded with growth, which now includes many office and retail venues such as the huge Chase/JP Morgan office complex and the Polaris Fashion Place.                                                                 Other well-known retail stores and ...

Consumers:  Please Visit Discover Columbus for CURRENT Central Ohio Real Estate Market Reports - this is old news but for some reason there are still a lot of people visiting.  Although ActiveRain / Localism has a category for market reports a local ActiveRain member was highly opposed to my sharing this information. The numbers here are the single family, townhouse and condominiums for sale and sold in the Lewis Center and Galena areas in the south east portion of Delaware County. A Central Ohio suburban area north east of Columbus.  Mainly this includes the Polaris area, Lewis Center, Orange Township and Genoa Township, this does not include Sunbury.  The report shows market demand by comparing current inventory to number of homes sold in a 15-month period.      Date 9/05 10/05 11/05...
