When I go to the grocery store I compare prices.  What's the per unit cost for product A vs. product B.  Assuming comparable quality, I'm buying the lowest cost.  When I want a baking potato, I'm looking not just at price, but how the potato looks.  How big is it?  What shape is it?  Is it damaged?  Is it fresh?  Does it have strange things growing on it?Now those are the same type of questions buyers ask when they're home shopping.  Comparisons are made between available homes.  Does the home have curb appeal?  Too big or small?  In good condition or in need of TLC?  Updated or out of style?  You get the drift!  We have a condo listed that is fairly priced for what it offers.  It's in a great location, open floor plan, move in ready, etc.  And a condo just came on the market in the dev...

"Why don't they build affordable housing in Mason Ohio?"That's a question we see often, particularly after a developer has announced a new development of any type.If it's news about apartments there tends to be following backlash:"We don't need the extra traffic!"."Too many people being added to our schools!"."Why do we need apartments anyway?  Those people could own something instead!!".My perception? In our mail today was Money magazine's annual Best Places To Live list and for the first time in awhile Warren County didn't have a Top 50 city.  Mason Ohio has typically been in the top 25 when the criteria aligned with what Mason offers.  But this year, it looks like the criteria shifted a bit.  For instance in a previous ranking, it was smaller towns/cities with a max population of 50k, well above Mason' official population.  This year's edition was up to 100,000 for population and guess what?  30 of the top 50 had populations greater than 50,000.  Frankly, there can be a pretty big difference in a city's amenities when you go from 30,000 to 90,000.  Does not making the list mean that Mason is no longer a great place to live?  Of course not.  Local residents have demonstrated year af...

There is one number that really jumps out at us concerning theMason Ohio condo market:  14.
