Changes to the Transit Fares In Brampton, Ontario, Canada Transit The Brampton, Ontario, Canada Transit is set to increase the fares slightly starting March 26th, 2012, due to increase ridership and repairs.  Currently an adult fare is $3.25. Also, starting January 1, 2013 tickets will no longer be available for purchase although they will accept tickets people may have on hand. The Presto card will take over as the convenient way to pay and ride. Just tap the Presto card when boarding the bus and the fare is paid! Presto cards can be reloaded with a $10.00 minimum.
