Pull out any dead or dying plants and replace them with fresh seasonal flowers.Trim back ...

Water Stains On Your Wood Furniture? Here's A Solution! This is just amazing, you have to try it if you have those nasty white rings and marks on your furniture! We had our beautiful kitchen table marked by white marks due to a water leak. We had tried everything we could think of and were told to try and nothing made those marks leave! We had resigned ourselves to the fact that it would have to be refinished, when our daughter Laura found this website, Tidy Mom's blog. It advised a tea towel and a hot iron would remove the stains. Okay, yes, we were very skeptical but figured let's try it we didn't have anything to lose, we couldn't make the table look any worse. So we heated up the old iron, found a t-shirt and went to work on the table.    Can you imagine our shock when after a few s...

Another Heat Advisory For Brampton Ontario, August 2012 Summer 2012 is probably to be remember as one of the hottest summers we're think.  Once again there is another heat advisory going out.  We just wanted to remind the residents of Brampton that there are 'cooling centres' located around the City at the recreation centres, at the City Hall and to also go into the malls for relief or take in a movie. The elderly and small children seem to feel the heat the worst  Just make sure they are drinking lots of water and are not heating up. Remember our furry friends.  Keep them in a cool spot and give them lots of water. Even our fine feathered friends need water put out for them as our rivers and streams dry up. Our son, Ri...
