I have been a stay-at-home mom since my daughter was born.  It's hard to believe that was eight years ago! Throughout this time, I had done small jobs for family and friends but for the most part, I was devoted 100% to my children and family. I found over the years that treating your kids to a spooky and fun Halloween dinner by black candle light for example made them less likely to eat tooo many candy on Halloween night.
