The best answer is the contract should be as long as you feel comfortable with and long enough to allow enough time for your REALTOR® to get the job done. If you are buying a Toronto Home or Condo and signing a Buyer Representation Agreement, depending on how far along in the buying process you are, maybe you need a longer contract length so you can see enough properties to make a good decision.  A shorter length could be used if you already have the place you want in mind and just need to get the offer done.  Always go with what feels comfortable.
