Homes on 1-5 acres in Salem Oregon saw a shortened market time down from January, but the average sold price was much lower. There were 39 currently available at the time of collecting this data, which created a 3.54 months of inventory.  Still a Seller's Market, closely following the trend in January. Homes in town or on less than 1 acre continue to be in high demand. There were 198 homes that sold last month, with an average market time of 85 days, slightly less than in January.  The average sold price also increased over the month, up to $325,119.  There is currently 1.7 months of inventory, creating a strong Seller's Market.  Once the March data is in, we will have a better idea of how the Corona Virus is affecting the local real estate market for Salem, Oregon.  To view the current...

How was the real estate market in January?   Yes, yes, I know, I am about 30 days late getting this information out.  But, better late than never, right?Just 3 properties between 5-10 acres sold in January, mostly because of low inventory.  But, they sold fast, with an average of 58 days.
