Here are recent price decreases in The Dalles residential real estate market.  These price decreases occurred from July 1 through July 31, 2019.It is interesting to note some properties have had multiple price decreases while others have reduced price shortly after going on the market.  This indicates the property was not priced at market, the market is in transition or both.  Recently, there has been a meaningful increase in The Dalles residential property inventory. The Board for Northern Wasco County Park and Recreation District has announced their attempt to pass a bond measure this coming November. The bond will include rebuilding a 50m pool in its current location, adding a permanent bath house complete with locker rooms and concession stand and will include the District office located on site. In addition, there will be a water slide, spectator seating and an Aqua climbing wall. Adding to the Thompson Park Master Plan, the District has plans to continue fundraising for a shade structure for the Skate Park which was completed in 2011 as well as to utilize the recently awarded grant funds from Oregon State Parks to build the free use Splash Park.   Speechless Sunday - Pups Patiently Waiting   Mel took this shot of some adorable pups patiently waiting for their owner outside the Grocery Outlet in The Dalles, Oregon. It's not uncommon to find dogs waiting in pick-up beds, but this is the first time I've seen some move up onto the cab for a better view.   Speechless Sunday - Youth Football Jamboree... Let the Season Begin!   Yesterday, our 11 year old, Ben, played for Hood River in The Dalles, Oregon in his football jamboree, the official kick-off of the 2012 football season. Youth tackle football is vastly popular in the Columbia River Gorge, starting in the 3rd grade. It's such a great community experience.
