There are wonderful days in November. The one that I am the most  grateful for is the day I get to share dinner with my family. .It is not just any dinner . This day is Thanksgiving  It is a dinner of traditional American food . Some of the food is prepared for days in advance  The aromas on Thanksgiving day fill the house with wonderful delightful smells . There is a turkey with stuffing that has been cooking for hours .. Sweet potato pie with marshmallows fill the air . There are buttered carrots ,  corn  , whipped mashed buttery potatoes , all .cooking on the stove   Everyone is talking and you can hear the football game on the television set .  I have a small Family here in Philly . My daughter Johanna and son-in law John have blessed me with four grand children .For this I am so thankful .  Their ages range from 8-16 . I have two beautiful granddaughters and two handsome grandsons . They fill my life with joy . Each one is an individual . I can not believe how time flies  . When I look at my oldest grandson who is learning to drive I remember him as a baby . What fun we had taking pictures of him and posing him . Birthday Party Celebration Party for John Tinelli -Bob Stewart tooToday was family day it was my son in law John Tinelli 's Birthday Celebration ! We had hot dogs and cheese burgers and delicious home made potato fries . Just as the BBQ was starting  there was a small problem . There was not ant propane gas left so the official cook . John Tinelli himself had to go out and get propane gas . While the other cooks in the house made delicious salads  and slipped in the surprise Birthday cake his favorite Italian Cheese Cake . Fun was has by the kids in the salt water pool .They could care less how long dinner would take .  It was not John's Birthday today it is really tomorrow but Sunday was an easier day to celebrate .
