"Minions" Animated Movie in Theaters July 2015 Summer Trailer  We are having a heat wave here in the Philadelphia and surrounding East Coast areas . The weather here in in the high 90's with high humidity which makes it feel more like 105 degrees .  What better place to spend the day  if not by the pool then at the movies with the children while they are off from school  .  Many of the movie theaters in our areas are converting to reclining seats    They are doing this by keeping half the theaters open at a time so movie selections are limited . Warning Wire Fraud Alert to Real Estate Agents    It has come to my attention when  reading my local MLS an article in Realtor.com about wire fraud . Hackers are E mailing  agents about upcoming settlements and obtaining information about buyers and sellers . They are slick and are using this information to send fraudulent emails giving  the buyers  new wiring instructions  or routing information that look legitimate   Unfortunately there have been some buyers that have fallen for this scheme and have lost their money  These emails to the buyers look very professional unlike other Phishing schemes . Great News Today My Screen Can Be Fixed When I worked at the RE/Max in Bensalem there was a wonderful computer shop called Smartcomp . I remember I would even buy bare bone computers back in the day . It was also brought to mind when Myrl Jeffcoat posted a comment about her computer   It seemed she had a virus  I hope she found someone to fix it . I remember unhooking it carrying the tower over and them fixing it for me in hours .That was over 16 years ago .  Today on the way home from the office I stopped there . One long look at the computer and they said $149 we can fix it . I was so relieved . They were not sure if the screen had to be ordered or if in stock would let me know in the morning . Jurassic World In Theaters a Summer Block Buster June 12, 2015  The heat is on in Philadelphia and Bucks County. A great way to spend your time is in a cool air conditioned movie theater . I took my grand daughter Alexis 11 years old to see Jurassic World in 3D . It was awesome . I was thrilled and so was she . It is a movie for both young and old . Not small children of course . I was sorry I did not see it in IMAX . I did enjoy it in 3D the special effects were amazing . There is not a moment when you are bored . It was spectacular. Spy  Comedy in Movie Theaters June 2015 Phila & Bucks County  This take off of a James Bond movie thriller with Melissa McCarthy , Jason Stratham and Jude Law was worth the money . It was really funny as all of Melissa McCarthy's movies are . It was quite  entertaining . Not an Oscar winner but an enjoyable way to spend an evening . I will say the night before I saw Love & Mercy . It was the first time I ever almost walked out of a movie I know it was a true story but it was incredibly boring and drawn out . I almost fell asleep . I was so looking forward to seeing Love & Mercy so I was really disappointed . My opinion is do not waste your money . Brian Wilson madman genius .  Are the tales of association with Charles Manson true ? Will this even be mentioned ? 5 Flights Up Playing in May at Movie Theaters Phila & Bucks County What a delightful movie this is . When I told a friend I saw this she quickly said "never heard of  it". I had never heard of it either but I watched the trailer and to my surprise it starred  Diane Keaton and Morgan Freeman .I was in the mood for something like this . It is a lighthearted movie about an older married couple who decide to sell their 5th floor  apartment in Brooklyn New York . Keep your shades up light is money . Real Estate Agents are not really painted in a good light but it was humorous and that was what I was looking for . 'Home' Animated Movie April 2015 Trailer Preview 'Home' Animated Movie April 2015 Trailer Preview  My granddaughter Olivia and I went to see "Home" on Good Friday .Aidan who usually joins us wanted to stay home and play on his IPad. It was a rainy day and a perfect day for a movie . We decided to see "Home" in 3D  just Olivia and me . The seats were comfy and the movie was not really crowded . We did get to take some pictures in front of some promotional posters before we went into the movie . Olivia loves to pose for me and she is very photogenic . If you have younger children this is a fun and entertaining movie for both children and adults .   March Madness Contest  What Have I Stopped Doing I have stopped meeting strangers at properties . I really have not done this for quite some time . I meet my clients at the office and sit down.  WE discuss their wants and needs . I also have them bring in all their information and meet a mortgage banker to find out just what they qualify for as far as a mortgage payment and how much of a house they can afford  .We need to see what they are comfortable with and what they can afford . Then we start our buying process . The rest is history . Then I occasionally I get these calls from buyers who convince me on the phone that they are pre qualified .  Instructions say two hours notice I am trying to set up appointments for properties Sometimes companies that have these properties listed have appointment centers . That is good I have had wonderful experiences with them . Many times you can set up your appointment on line . This allows you the convenience of getting other work done . Later the online service will either call, email ,or text you appointment  confirmations . You do know that your appointment  has been acknowledged  and someone is trying to get you confirmed to show the property .There are a few select agents that work for these companies that use appointment centers that do not take advantage of this service .
