Saturday September 18th was East Petersburg Day 2010 at the community park in the center of East Petersburg Borough - and it was a great day!  The weather was perfect for the day's events, from the Prayer Breakfast at the East Pete Mennonite Church  at 7am to the end of the teen dance at 11pm.                                                 I was a judge for the chili cook-off and my favorite out of the 12 entries won!  I must have good chili taste buds... there were rides and games for the kids all day, and lots of great food. The Pennsylvania State Police helicopter paid a vist for a half hour, and the Maytown Sport Parachute Club "dropped in" as well: The stage was busy all day with local bands such as Times Two, Shaiyka and the South Street Band.
