Many years ago there were delicatessen's  in all the neighborhoods .Today it is really hard to find a really good deli with authentic Jewish cuisine. It is not the food it is financing and the big food chains .What a loss . Just lately Jacks a local deli in the Bustleton section of NE Philadelphia Pa closed its doors and said Good Bye to the dismay of many . Saturday was Ben and Irv's Deli in Huntington Valley  Dinner with a friend at the neighborhood deli . The local deli is about thirty minutes away but the food is worth the ride . I had a Groupon $16 for $30  worth of food .  The  menu is at least three of four pages long . I love the soup .    Last night after eating at Ben and Irv's my favorite deli in NE Philly, Bucks County and Montgomery well in my neck of the woods anyway . It is located in Huntington Valley Pa. It is not far from my Re/Max Eastern Real Estate Office . My hair dresser is also in the same shopping center .Now Hot Foot Shoe Store is also located there . Hot Foot Shoes a NE Philly favorite place for the latest and greatest styles of shoes . They have moved to Huntington Valley Pa to a bigger store from Krewstown rd  . They now have clothes from the Talk of the Walk from Atlantic City NJ . What a fun place to go . The problem is  everything in there is wonderful . Be prepared to spend money . Fall in love you will . The selection is fantastic . Thieves Target Open Houses Agents Alert Sellers . Jewelry Thieves were targeting Open House in Montgomery County. Police say they posed as husband and wife looking to buy. They would find am excuse to separate and search the house . One would start to ask the agent questions while the other searched. Their target was jewelry and jewelry they did find . Whenever I list a house I tell sellers to put their valuables in a safe place . Also they do not want to leave prescription drugs laying around especially at an Open House .It is very important not to let people wander during an Open House .I am not a fan of Open Houses  When showing a home it is best when everyone stays together . We had a lot of snow on saturday and the owner had already started moving before the weekend. I was worried about going for the walk thru and walking on the ice/snow.   It was a pleasant surprise that the owner had removed the snow from walkway and driveway. Our agreement of sale required the home to be broom clean but the owner actually had the place cleaned thoroughly. It is closings like this where there are wonderful buyers and wonderful sellers and good agents representing the other side of the transaction that makes me feel so good. I love my job . 12/16/2013
