2013 Scarecrow Contest at Peddler's Village in Lahaska Bucks County PA     The annual scarecrow contest and festival is currently underway at Peddler’s Village in Lahaska, PA, and will continue through October 27, 2013.  It is a weekend of Halloween and fall family fun which includes pumpkin painting, pumpkin pie-eating contests, scarecrow making workshops, live music entertainment and children’s activities.  Once you have strolled among the colorful scarecrows on display in the Annual Scarecrow Competition and Display, pick up a ballot and vote for your favorites!  Peddler's Village shoppers and guests will vote for their favorite scarecrows by casting ballots, which will be available at the local retailers.  There will be more than $5,000 in cash prizes awarded to the winners of var... 10/19/2013

Olympic Fever that is.  I enjoyed the excitement of the Opening Ceremonies on Friday night.   Words that come to mind: Inspiring, breathtaking, and pride.  It was so inspiring to see athletes from around the world gathered together, the breathtaking site of the torch being lit and the fireworks that followed and the tremendous pride I felt as I watched the USA team enter the stadium knowing they were going to accomplish great things.  These words also relate to how I view my job as a realtor in Bucks County.  I'm often inspired by the beautiful people I meet and have the opportunity to represent, I find the Bucks County area breathtaking and I have tremendous pride in the work that I do in working with both buyers and sellers in helping them realize their dreams.
