Billionaire Says Now is Time for Residential Investments Television interview with Warren Buffett Feb. 27, 2012 By MortgageDaily.com staff The Oracle of Omaha says that now is the time to invest in residential real estate. A little more than five minutes into a CNBC interview, Warren Buffett said that single-family homes are a good investment. "If I had a way of buying a couple hundred thousand single-family homes, and had a way of managing -- the management is enormous, is really a problem because they're one by one, they're not like apartment houses -- but I would load up on them," the billionaire said. "I would take mortgages out at very, very low rates. "But if anybody's thinking about buying a home, five years ago they couldn't buy them fast enough because they thought they were ...

This townhome is being offered as a Short Sale in Tareyton Estates for $165,000.  Similar homes in Tareyton Estates have been selling between $238,000 - $250,000 this year. So a great price and could be perfect for an FHA203k Rehab Loan. If you'd like a private tour of this townhome give me  call #215-499-7682. 209 Farleigh Ct. What's the difference between buying a Short sale, Foreclosure and REO (Bank Owned Property)? A Short Sale is where the seller is negotiating with the bank to accept less than the bank is owned.  To give an example the seller purchased the home with a $200,000 loan a few years ago, and now due to their circumstances can no longer afford to make the payments.  Over those few years the condo has dropped in value to $190,000.  To sell the home will cost approximatel...

At last! the much anticipated changes to the the first-time homebuyer tax credit are in. The most noticable difference from the last $7500 tax credit is that it does not require repayment if the house is not sold within 3 years. Beginning January 1, 2009 until December 1, 2009 first-time homebuyers will be lucky enough to get this boost from the government. See the updates in writing here. Ready to buy? You'd be smart not to wait. After all, it's a buyer's market, rates are down and you're getting a "rebate." Renting just got so much more expensive this year. Search the MLS and see every home for sale on the Map! www.SmartGirlsOwn.com Call the McCarthy Group at 215-757-6100 ext. 173
