Growing up on the Main Line, and attending Lower Merion, Narberth was always known as a quaint borough, not off the Main Line, but not quite in the Main Line either. Classmates were referred to as "Narbs," and the general consensus was that it was not the best place to live. Fast forward 25 years, and a lot has changed. Narberth is the new Manayunk of the Main Line, a "walking town" so to speak, which I wish there were more of!Compared to Lower Merion, Narberth is a steal, but if you want to buy, keep a sharp eye out. There aren't as many homes for sale as in the LM Township area.
