This years show held at the Manheim Township Community Park once again showcased a great variety of cars. You  got to see everything from muscle cars, to corvettes to studenbaker trucks which were plentiful this year. We uploaded all pictures into a nice picture gallery to show to you. In researching past events i noticed someone sellingl a picture of Everard's car from the same show last year. Caring Singles held its annual Autumn picnic Sunday at the Manheim Township Community Park in Neffsville. For some reason, this picnic is always blessed with great weather, and this year was no exception!  The temperature reached 80 degrees, but a cool breeze kept things totally comfortable.                            Red Rose Singles is a non-religious, non-profit, non-discriminatory organization.  Its purpose is to provide support for single, separated, divorced or widowed persons.  In addition, Red Rose Singles hosts get-togethers such as dine-outs and hikes. Part of Manheim Township, Neffsville is both a hub of the township and a quiet suburban locale.  Located where Lititz Pike (501) intersects Petersburg/Valley roads, Neffsville is the home of Manheim Township schools, with the middle/high schools & district office in town.  Neffsville is the home of one of the township's fire halls.  According to local tradition, the town was named for one Johan Christian Neff of Germany, who arrived in America in 1743.  A local company, Shanks, made vanilla bean extracts for many years and is still made today, although the business has moved out of town.  For you golfers, Jim Furyk is a Manheim Township High School graduate.  State Representative John Bear also makes his office in town.
