In 2011, Newtown Borough saw 22 homes sell.  Homes Sold In Newtown Borough in 2011, Real Estate Market Update.  The prices ran from $153,000 for a condo in Newtown Park Plaza to a high of $780,000 for a home in Newtown Station.  The average days on market were 158 and the average sales price to original list price was 90.82%. So 2011 was fairly similar to 2010 in Newtown Borough when 20 homes sold with an average days on market of 125 & an average sales price to original list price was 92.74%.  The lowest price then was $158,000 for a condo in Newtown Park Plaza & the highest price was $1,400,000 for a brand new single family home on Washington Ave.  The 2nd highest price was $765,000 for a home in Newtown Station so if we remove the brand new single family construction the years look v...

On Saturday December 17th, 2011 the Bucks County Business Association will be holding their First Annual Holiday Gift Wrapping Event from 12 - 4 pm at Isaac Newtons.  All donations will go to the Lower Bucks County Homeless Shelter where I serve meals every Friday.  As the economy has gotten tougher the shelter is seeing more and more people in need, but less and less donations coming in.  Please come on out and support this great cause while enjoying a bite to eat and a drink while we wrap your gifts for your generous donations.  A great chance to have some fun and help those who need it most this time of year.

Newtown Borough presents a weekend of holiday activities! The holiday season kicks off in high gear this weekend with a plethora of activities in Newtown Borough. Santa makes his first appearance of the season Friday evening at the handcrafted Santa House in front of the Newtown Volunteer Fire Company on Washington Avenue. Santa will be on hand for the fire company's tree lighting and then will vist with the children. The Newtown Historic Association presents its 49th annual Open House Tour this Saturday, December 3 from 10 am to 4 pm. Six private homes and six public buildings, including the Half-Moon Inn will be on view in Historic Newtown Borough. All the homes in this year’s tour can be reached by foot from the Half-Moon Inn.  All tour properties will be decorated for the holidays.
