David Callahan owner of the historic Newtown Hardware Store has started a bumper sticker campaign to bring awareness to the stores recent struggle during these tough economic times.  As the large developers and smaller contractors have slowed down they have been showing up less and less at the hardware store to grab their supplies, and they make up a large portion of the stores sales. ‘All Shook Up' a musical inspired by and featuring the music of Elvis Presley is opening tonight at The Newtown Theatre.  The musical is being presented by The Newtown Arts Company and will run from April 7th through April 13th.    The play will include lots of dancing and Elvis' hits such as "Jailhouse Rock," "Don't Be Cruel," & "Love Me tender."  Newtown's George Fisher will be playing the lead role of Chad the envelope pusher who ends up in a small town kept under strict control by the local mayor.  The show is Kid Friendly so bring everyone out to see the show.
