Walmart will keep most stores open for 24 hours, beginning Thanksgiving through the end of the following day. Sales begin at 5 a.m. on Black Friday, but lining up and rushing the doors won't be part of this year's festivities. Walmart and amazon.com are already duking it out with DVD's. Walmart hit first with dropping all their DVD's to $10. Then amazon.com fought back with $9.99. The fighting stopped at Walmart with $9.98. They are saying this year you will not need to get up on Friday and standing in lines at 5am; that this year you can sleep in. The reason; sales are going to start much earlier this year then years past and it looks like http://www.amazon.com/ and Walmart have already started.

It has NOT been written into law as of yet. I understand it and as it is being reported. A measure to extend and expand the first-time home buyer tax credit won Senate approval Wednesday The new credit still must pass through the House, that would send it to President Barack Obama signature into law new tax credit would extend the existing credit for first-time homebuyers up to $8,000 new credit up to $6,500 for some existing homeowners that have owned their home for at least 5 years new credit would apply to contracts entered into through April 30, 2010 and closed before July 1, 2010. A home buyer must have a sale agreement in hand by April 30 and close escrow by June 30, 2010. The new rule also raises the qualifying income limits up to $125,000 for single taxpayers and $250,000 for jo...

We all enjoy the beautiful colors of autumn, but why the leaves change color is a mystery to most leaf-watchers. In summer, leaves capture the sun's energy and turn it into food through a process called photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is made possible through a green pigment called chlorophyll, which keeps leaves green in summer. Chlorophyll absorbs sunlight, turning it into the sugars trees live on. Yellow and orange pigments are present, but they are overpowered by green chlorophyll. In winter, trees shed their leaves to slow the evaporation of water, which is difficult to replace when the ground is frozen. Also, trees may become damaged when water within their leaves freezes and expands. To prepare for winter, trees grow a corky layer which prevents water from entering their leaves. W...

What happend to Fall? October 15, 2009 snow fall marks the heaviest early-season snowfall on record in the Poconos. With a second storm hittings the area again this weekend. The storm is the earliest significant snowfall in the region since at least 1836 said our local weather person. Last year we had a similar story an early snowstorm hit as well in October last year as well, though later in the month. On Oct. 27 and 28, the higher elevations of the Pocono Plateau were slammed with 10 to 20 inches of snow.

Looks like the recession is effecting baseball.  New York Yankees cut some season ticket prices for 2010. The Yankees are cutting the prices of some of their most expensive season tickets for 2010. The price of the best field-level seats will drop from US$325 to $250 or $235 as part of season plans, the team said late Tuesday night. A total of 3,400 field-level seats will have lower prices. Those seats cost $375 for individual games this year. The Yankees did not announce individual game prices for 2010.     Keller Williams Real Estate 601 Bethlehem PikeBuilding B, Suite 100Montgomeryville, PA 18936Main Office: 215-631-1900Direct: 215-850-9640 · Contact Form http://jeffrickertteam.com/
