This question goes out to all mortgage companies that specialize in the vaction home sector. I ran into a road block this past week.  To All, The government has passed a new law with regards to appraisal orders from mortgage companies. This change affects all mortgage lenders and mortgage brokers across the board.All mortgage companies and loan officers can no longer can place an order for an appraisal with a specific appraisal company. As of Friday, May 1st, 2009, all appraisers will be randomly selected, from an appraisal service, to perform the appraisal required for the purchase or refinance of a home.Our bank will be setting up a new department specifically designed to handle all our appraisal requests.     When I first became a REALTOR® I had to spend a two days in class and then we had a graduation. I paid an initial fee and every year after I have paid an annual fee. It was explainted to me this gives me the right to use the word REALTOR® and logo. We pay all this money for all of our dues and continuing education and there are agents out there bucking the systems.   My second loaded question for the day. Who polices the designation logo's? I remember when I received my designation I asked about the use of the logo and I was told by NAR only if you have the designation. We wanted to toot our horn. Everyone seems to be crying the blues that the market is soooooooooooo bad. Agents are going part time. Agents are putting their license in escrow. We disagree. According to LLVPOA policy, all rentals of property within Locust Lake Village, as defined in the Rules and Regulations, shall be registered with the Locust Lake Village Property Owners Association. The completed form ‘Registration of Rental Property'must be fi led with the LLVPOA by the lessee within 10 days of occupancy.  Locust Lake Anglers Club   Trout stocking was scheduled on Saturday, March 28. They stocked the East Lake first, than Locust Lake. Everyone met at the East Lake at 10 a.m. The next Anglers Club meeting was held after the trout stocking at the Locust Lake Village Chalet starting at 11 a.m. on March 28. All are welcome to join the Anglers Club! Opening day for trout fishing begins on Saturday, April 18 at 8 a.m. for Locust Lake Village. There is daily limit of 4 trout within Locust Lake Village during the regular season.
