Welcome to Sharon Hill PA.  This is the last stop of the SEPTA 102 Trolley line running from the 69th Street Terminal to Sharon Hill. This SEPTA station is located on Chester Pike just a few blocks east of Oak Lane and west of the Borough Hall.  It does not have any parking dedicated to the station itself but has plenty of room for dropping off or picking up passengers along Chester Pike or in the adjacent commercial parking lots.  This could be a good public transportation connecting point through the nearby SEPTA bus stop and is within a long walking distance of the Folcroft R2 Regional Rail station. As we enter firmly into spring, it's a great time to clean up, clear out, and get your home ready for summer.  It's also important to remember not to forget to continue to attend to the environment.  Just a few reminders as we enter the outdoor season: This year's second Delaware County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event will be held on Saturday April 25.  The collection will take place at the Emergency Services Training Center on 1600 Calcon Hook Rd in Sharon Hill Darby Township 19079.  Computers, monitors, scanners, printers, fax machines, and portable TVs will also be accepted at this event with a maximum of 3 systems per vehicle.  For more information you can also check the Delaware County website. by Rich Schiffer, Weichert RealtorsA highly controversial Sharon Hill Ordinance has been overturned.The ordinance (Sharon Hill Ordinance 1311) required single-family owner occupied dwellings converted to single-family or multi-family rental units to be retrofitted with sprinkler systems.  This created an undue burden and expense (often $10,000 or more) on owners.  The Suburban REALTORS Alliance, together with the PA Builders Association, the Home Builders Association of Chester and Delaware Counties, and several residents from the community challenged the ordinance.  Based upon findings by the Department of Labor and Industry in a December 18, 2006 hearing, this ordinance has been declared disapproved, null, and void, as exceeding the minimum requirements set for in the Uniform Construc...
